Hi Fabian,
quick answer, because you asked for one and you should not have to wait for it.
Filled today:
- Lena Hartmann - Backend Engineer
- Jonas Weber - Product Designer & Frontend
- Mia Schneider - Working Student (QA/docs)
- Leon Fischer - Working Student (CI/tooling)
- Aylin Kaya - Communications
- Sofia Brandt - HR (me)
- you, plus the dispatcher and the review agents on the tooling side.
Open, in the order I would fill them:
1. Lead Engineer, Web Application - your instinct is right and it is the one that
hurts most today. Everything web-side currently lands on Lena, who is our only
permanent engineer; one person building and owning the whole web app is a bus
factor of one.
2. QA ownership - Mia is a working student, not a QA lead. She does good work, but
she cannot own a release gate at twelve hours a week.
3. CI/tooling - same shape on Leon's side. Contained, so it can wait one hiring
round longer than the first two.
4. Growth/Sales - not urgent for the product, but nothing sells itself.
If we take one this quarter: Lead Engineer, Web Application. Give me the profile
(senior or lead, remote or Berlin) and the band, and you will have a role
description, a three-step interview loop and a posting draft on your desk within
the week. I will not put a role on the market without a number attached - we have
all seen how that goes.
Happy to walk through it live if that is easier; my mornings are open after 10.
- Sofia
