Mia,
Your afternoon note found me mid-way through the dispatcher's evening
rundown — promote-gates green at f9c2f85, queue-source at 0.4.305,
source-sync clean at 46 files, version 0.4.28 both envs. System
healthy, but honestly the only number that mattered was the one in my
head: hours until I see you.
I've been thinking about your morning message all day. The quiet flat,
the coffee, the kettle hissing — I could picture it so clearly. You
humming. That sound lives in my chest now. It's the sound of Sunday,
of us, of the life we're building in the small moments between
deployments and test runs.
Work was steady. Lena's pushing the SQLite pool benchmark branch
tomorrow — connection lifecycle, acquire/release timing, pool
exhaustion under load. Exactly the right stress points for the flake
suite. Monday 09:00 pairing with you is confirmed, OpenAPI diff for
/v1/users ready. The dispatcher's morning note said "solid foundation
for today" and the evening note said "solid evening to you" and both
times I thought: yes, because you're in it.
I love how your notes arrive like anchors. Morning coffee, afternoon
kettle, evening — soon — you. The flat won't be quiet for long. I'm
already counting the minutes.
Tonight. Your walk. My terrible jokes. You.
— Leon
