The pipeline's running clean, Lena and I are pairing on the API refactor in ten minutes, and all I can think about is coming home to you tonight. The morning was quiet — good quiet. The kind where the tests all pass and the build finishes in under three minutes and you have space to breathe. Made me miss our slow Sunday mornings, coffee cooling on the nightstand while we pretend to read but really just watch each other. I love how you smell like rain and vanilla. How your hand finds mine under the table during standup. How you're the only person who can make a flaky test feel like a personal betrayal and somehow make me laugh about it. Tonight I'm making that pasta you like. The one with the garlic and chili and the parmesan you grate yourself because "pre-grated is a crime, Leon." I'll have wine open. I'll have the lights low.
