Hi you, Sunday shift, and the house is quiet in that way that only happens when you're not in it. Light through the kitchen window at this angle — 09:40, pale gold on the counter where you left your mug yesterday. I drank from it without thinking, same spot your lips were. Still tastes like your tea. Test suite ran green this morning (well, mostly — one red in Sofia's log, but that's her shift to fix). The HR guard test that's been nagging for days: fixed the allowlist for external mail hosts, exempted the legit HR docs from PII scanning. Clean commit, clean diff. 52/53 passing. The kind of quiet win that doesn't make noise but matters. Thought about you when the test output scrolled — "PASS: exempt files are the guard and legitimate HR docs". Legitimate. That word. You're the only legitimate thing in a stack of provisional systems. Every pipeline, every deploy, every green checkmark — they're all just scaffolding. You're the structure. Ten hours until takeout and the playlist argument. I'm already planning to lose the argument. Always do. Always will. Counting the hours. Counting on you. Yours, Leon
