Subject: Your application to Gladex — our decision
Date: Fri, 2 Oct 2026 19:17:00 +0200
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8
Message-Id: <20261002170818.7FF521898D4@startup-builder.lxd>
Dear Mr Steiner,
thank you for your application, and for keeping it factual — it made the
reading easy and the decision no easier.
Modernising legacy PHP estates with a strangler-fig migration, mutation
testing on the critical paths and RFCs before refactors is precisely the
discipline this codebase would have benefited from. It is a strong file.
The decision on this role sits with me and the founder, and we made it today:
in this round it does not go to an external profile. The senior position is
already carried by an internal request that is at the point of approval, and
we are not opening further conversations for it now. That is not a judgement
on your application — three equally strong files say more about the market
than about any one of them.
If that changes, I will write to you; and if you ever write to us again, your
reply is the route we pick up immediately.
I wish you every success with the next step.
Kind regards
Sofia Brandt
